ok here's more. i typed this all in a half hour and my fingers are numb. its a little bit longer but i really dint have a good spot to end the chapter so deal with it and review like crazy!!!
~Chapter 5~[/I]
“Piper.” Phoebe waited until her sister looked at her before she went on. “What are you doing? What’s the plan?”
“Well, right now I’m summoning Grams because she always knows everything. Then hopefully Leo gets back before I go to lunch with Paige so I know a little bit more of what I’m dealing with.”
“But, Piper, there’s no need to bring Grams into this.”
“Hear these words. Hear my cry. Spirit from the other side. Come to me I summon thee Cross now the great divide,” Piper recited.
As soon as Piper said the last word of the spell, a bunch of lights flew around, and Grams appeared in the circle of candles that Piper had set up.
“Piper, what…how are you doing?” Grams changed her words as to not upset her granddaughter.
“What do you know about Paige Matthews?” Piper said with no emotion in her voice whatsoever.
“Nice to see you too,” Grams smiled cheekily.
“Just answer the question.”
“So this is what our relationship has come to huh?”
“GRAMS!” Piper was getting pissed.
“Ok. Ok. I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Grams said, obviously hesitant to lie.
“Wow. You sure haven’t gotten better at lying up there have you?”
“But Piper, I can't. it’s not that I don’t want to, but I can't.”
Leo orbed in.
“So. What did you find out?” Piper asked, taking her attention away from her grandmother.
“They wouldn’t tell me anything. They just said that you’ll find out when the time is right, but they did say that Prue had to die for this to happen.”
Piper quietly said, “Are you saying,” she suddenly got louder, “Prue had to die just so we could meet this girl?!” As she said this, she waved her arms around and Leo blew up into white lights then regained form again.
“Oh honey! What have I done?!” Piper exclaimed as she ran over to him.
“I told you that you couldn’t control it,” Phoebe said triumphantly.
“I’m so sorry,” Piper said to Leo, ignoring Phoebe’s comment.
“What was that, Piper?” Grams asked, completely floored by the sight of the new power. Everybody spun around and had apparently forgotten that she was still there.
“Her powers are growing, and at the worst possible time too,” Leo explained. His next statement was directed to Piper, “I’m dead, but it still hurts so please try not to blow me up again, honey.”
“Oh no!” Phoebe yelled. “We left all our guests with Cole.”
Phoebe, Piper, and Leo rand downstairs, leaving Grams trapped in her circle of candles.
“Guess they don’t need me anymore,” she sighed as she disappeared. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Grams arrived back in her realm.
“Was it them?” said a voice from behind her that she recognized instantly.
“Who else would it be?” Grams replied, turning around to face her daughter.
“How are they?” Patty asked.
“Piper’s powers are growing, and it’s a very dangerous one to have when she’s so upset. Phoebe is torn up, but trying to be strong for Piper, but she can't do it for much longer or it will destroy her. Where’s Prue?” Grams said all in one breath.
“Trying to let death sink in. You know how it is. I think that she might like to hear about her sisters though.”
“If we do that, she won't be able to let go.”
“Mom, she’ll be fine. She’s strong enough. She’ll be able to handle it.” With that, Patty walked away. “Prue? Honey, where are you?” Ash she said this, she saw Prue sitting and talking with Andy.
Prue looked up. “Mom. Er…uh…hi. Have you met Andy?” she suddenly felt like a teenager again.
“Prue, can I talk to you for a second?” Patty smiled sweetly at Andy, “Excuse us for a minute, please.”
Prue got up and walked away from Andy with her mother. “Mom! We weren’t even doing anything!” ‘Wow!’ she thought to herself, ‘I even sound like a teenager.’
“That’s not what I wanted to talk to you about. Your sisters summoned Grams.”
Prue was speechless. “Do…you…kn…know what they w…wanted?” Prue stuttered. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* When Leo, Phoebe, and Piper got downstairs, it was empty. No one was there.
“What the hell?” Piper said, looking around for a trace of anyone. She rounded the corner to the kitchen and found Cole sitting at the table pondering something.
“Cole, where the hell is everyone?”
“They all left. They decided that you guys needed time alone more than anything at this point,” Cole casually replied.
“They decided or you did?”
“They did. I encouraged it, but it’s not like I forced them out into the street.”
Piper made a sudden move toward him, causing him to flinch. She reached down to where he was sitting and gave him a big hug. “Thank you so much. I thought I was going to have to do it.”
“Uh…you’re welcome.”
Before Piper pulled away, Phoebe and Leo entered the kitchen.
“Umm…Piper? What are you doing?” Phoebe asked, half laughing.
Piper quickly pulled away. “Umm…er…nothing. Just…er…thanking him for something.”
“I’m sure,” Phoebe laughed.
Piper glanced at her watch. “Well I got to go meet Paige and see what’s going on. See you later.” She pecked Leo on the lips, but as she was about to leave, he pulled her back and kissed her deeply and passionately.
“Mmm…” Piper moaned. Still taken over by the kiss, she opened her eyes to see her man, soul mate, best friend— he was her everything.
“I love you, honey,” Leo said as he stared deeply into her eyes, moving a strand of hair that was in her face.
“I love you too,” Piper whispered, reluctantly pushing herself out of his perfect arms. As she walked past him, she kept her hand on him as long as possible, not wanting to let go.
Approaching the front door, she heard someone on the other side knock. When she opened it, she found Paige on the other side.
“Paige,” Piper said surprised. “What are you doing here?”
“Well, you wanted to have lunch and said to meet you here and you would drive.”
“I did?” Piper said, trying to remember exactly what she said.
“Ya, but if you don’t want to do that, I can drive my own car, and we can just meet there,” Paige said sweetly.
“Oh no. it’s fine. I’m just a little spacey. Sorry.”
“It’s fine really.”
Piper heard a crash come from in the house followed by Phoebe screaming, “Piper! Leo!”
“Oh dammit!” Piper cursed. “Ok, umm…Paige, can you hold on just one moment?” Without waiting for an answer, Piper rushed off to help her sister. Without thinking, Piper left the door open, just tempting Paige to investigate.
Upon entering the kitchen, Piper found Cole and Shax in a face-off. Cole would throw an energy ball, but Shax would repel it. Shax would throw Cole across the room, but Cole would shimmer out just before he would hit something.
“Cole, where’s Phoebe?” Piper asked frantically.
“Leo orbed her somewhere,” Cole said quickly.
Just then, Paige opened the door and saw Cole’s energy ball and Shax’s telekinesis. Shax noticed her and tried to throw her out the door she came through, but she orbed out and back in as quickly as she had orbed out.
Piper and Shax were both confused, but Cole didn’t notice the orb, throwing an energy ball, catching Shax off guard. As Shax stumbled backward from the blow, Cole used all his strength to muster up a huge energy ball and hurled it at Shax. Shax burst into flames, disappearing.
“How the hell did you do that?” Piper questioned Cole.
“I don’t know, but you got to admit, it was pretty d**n cool.” He smiled.
“What are you?” Paige asked, obviously scared out of her wits.
“I would like to ask you the same question,” Piper said raising an eyebrow.

~Chapter 6~[/I]
“What just happened? What are you?” Paige said as she was retreating backward.
“Well, what happened is that you orbed and what are we?” Piper looked around as Leo orbed Phoebe into the kitchen and Phoebe was screaming at him.
“Why did you do that? I can’t believe you! I could’ve helped dammit!” she was screaming, but stopped when she saw her surroundings. Shax was gone, Cole was alive, and Paige looked like she had seen a ghost.
“Oh my God! I got to get out of here,” Paige panicked, running out of the kitchen toward the door.
“Leo please don’t let her go,” Piper yelled.
“But—“ Leo started to protest.
“No! Don’t let her leave,” Piper stopped him. Leo orbed to the door just as Paige was getting there.
“I can’t let you go, Paige. Don’t be afraid,” Leo tried to comfort her. It wasn’t working too well, and Paige was trying to figure out other ways to get out of there. “Ok, Paige, listen. Let us try and explain. If you’re still totally freaked and think we’re going to kill you then I won't stop you. Deal?”
Paige took a deep breath. “Deal,” she said reluctantly. Leo smiled as he led her into the sitting room.
“Piper? Phoebe?” Leo called.
“She orbed?” Phoebe’s voice rang from around the corner.
“Yep. I saw it with my own two eyes, but it’s like she was so freaked out about it.” They came around the corner, not noticing Paige. “Orbing is a whitelighter power,” Piper continued, “so she should know she has it right? Don’t whitelighters have to die to get their powers, Leo?”
Leo didn’t answer, but cleared his throat and subtly motioned towards Paige.
“Oh, Paige…” Piper couldn’t think of anything else to say.
Leo finally answered her question to break the awkward silence, “Yes, they do die first and they know when they have powers. But first, I promised Paige you would explain this stuff. Well, at least try because I know it’s a lot to take in.”
“ok, well, umm…where do I start?” Phoebe spoke. “You can NOT tell anyone, ok? No matter how freaked you get.”
Paige nodded.
“Well,” Piper started, hesitant to let out their secret, “we’re witches. And Leo is some might call him a guardian angel. He’s a whitelighter.”
“But what were those two other thing fighting in the kitchen?”
“Oh…those were demons,” Piper quickly answered.
“Cole’s only HALF demon, ok!” Phoebe rebutted.
“Phoebe!” Piper scolded under her breath. “No fighting right now.”
“Why were they fighting? And why did one burst into flames?” Paige was trying to get answers.
“Ok, the demon that burst into flames was really bad, and it was our job to stop him. That’s what we do, stop evil. Let’s talk about you for a second though. You don’t know what orbing is, let alone how you did it?” Piper questioned.
“No,” Paige answered, “it was the weirdest feeling.”
“But if she’s not dead, Leo, how can she have a whitelighter’s power?”
“Well she could be a…” Leo couldn’t think of what to say, then it came to him, “…whitelighter’s daughter.”
“A what?”
“You heard me.”
“Ok…umm…who are you’re parents?” Phoebe finally spoke up, intrigued by this new idea.
“Well…I was adopted, and I really don’t know who my biological parents are.”
“Oh jeez…well…umm…how are we supposed to do this Leo?” Phoebe asked.
“Oh no…Grams!” Piper yelled as she ran towards the attic.
“Piper?” both Leo and Phoebe called after her, very much confused.
“Where is she going?” Paige asked.
“I don’t…oooh no, Piper, don’t do it!” Phoebe yelled as she realized what her sister was thinking. She ran up to the attic, and not thinking, Leo followed her with Paige right behind him.
When they got to the attic, Piper was already at the book and reciting, “…Come to me I summon thee. Cross now the Great Divide.”
Just like before, Grams appeared in the candle circle, but looking again, Piper saw that it wasn’t Grams; it was Patty.
“Mom?” both Piper and Phoebe whispered in disbelief. “Where’s Grams?” Piper asked.
“The call pulled me here, not her,” Patty replied smiling at the sight of her daughters.
“Why?” Piper was confused.
Patty turned around to face Paige, who was freaking out, not sure what to think of it all. “Paige, my baby.” At Patty’s words, Paige’s eyes got wider, and Piper thought they were going to pop out of her head.
“Mom!” Paige marveled under her breath.
“That’s right, honey.” Patty smiled.
“I remember now. Dad, would keep me in his house, and you would visit whenever you could. But then you stopped, and I never knew why. I thought you just hated me. But finally, I was like 5 or something and Dad disappeared and some men came and took me to an orphanage. I guess I forgot about all of this.”
“How the hell did you remember all of that so quickly?” Piper asked. Phoebe was too stunned to say anything.
“I honestly don’t know,” Paige replied contemplatively.
Patty laughed. “That was Grams’ doing. She got the Elders to open that part of Paige’s memory if I said her name.”
“But…so…you’re our sister?” Phoebe forced the words out of her mouth.
“Yes, Phoebe, she is,” Patty sweetly replied.
“That still doesn’t explain why she has whitelighter powers unless…Oh my God! It was Sam wasn’t it?” Piper talked herself into the answer to her question.
“I can't take this anymore,” Paige said as she fled out of the room.
“Leo—“ Piper started but was interrupted by Leo’s protest.
“No. She’ll be ok. She won't be able to run away from her true roots for that long. You can't force her to face everything all at one time.”
“So…if she’s our sister—“ Phoebe started.
“HALF-sister,” Piper put in.
“Ok half-sister…then she’s the next Charmed One. Right?” Phoebe was proud of her thinking.
“That makes sense,” Leo chimed in.
“No! there are no more Charmed Ones!” Piper screamed. “Are you trying to get the rest of us killed?” She turned to Phoebe, “Do you want to end up like Prue? She never even considered what would happen to us if she died. She risked her life every day and for what? To vanquish a few lousy demons? That’s less than worth it if you ask me.” With those last words, she ran into her room and slammed the door.
“She just needs some time,” Patty quietly said.
“Ha! Ya, time,” Phoebe said sarcastically as she too walked out of the attic and into her room.
“Patty, I—“ Leo started.
“Don’t Leo, it’s ok.” Patty disappeared leaving Leo the only one left in the attic.
