Hey all,
I know I haven't been around for a long time. But I've been going through a really tough time.
As many of you know, my cousin Jacob's lukemia has come back. So it's been really hard. He's been in and out of the hospital alot. Which has made it hard. I've been online, but I just haven't been to boards. I'm sorry guys, I'll try to make a come back though.
And now, the reason I posted this. I lost one of my best friends, not to death or anything. But, me and another friend were really worried about her. Because she met this 23 year old guy on the internet, and she's 17, and she had known him for 2 years, but you never know. And he was possibly coming to our school last week on Thursday, but me and my friend went to the counseling office and told on her. We just didn't want her to get hurt. And now she won't talk to me. She doesn't realize that we are just protecting her. And all my parents know, and they all said that we did the right thing.
Well my last little problem now.
My ex girlfriend... well she finally started talking to me again. To tell me, she's getting married in December, unless I can change her mind. She still loves me, and I still love her. But I don't know what to do. She said she wanted to be with me and everything, but I'm stuck. I'm not sure what to say to her. I told her how I feel and everything, but I'm just stuck! Can someone give me a helping hand please!

O sweetie, I'm so sorry. For 1. your best friend will most likely come around. I was stuck in that situation once and I had to tell on one of my friends but I was also in the situation the other way around and I know how she is probably feeling right now: betrayed, angry, sad, etc. But if you just give it time, she will more than likely realize that what you did for her was to protect her. But then again I cant say for sure because I dont know her. And for 2. Is your ex happy with the person that she is going to marry? If she is, I know that you probably wont want to hear this but you've gotta let her go through with it. And if you really love her, than you'll want what makes her happy right? But if she's wavery at all, you should just talk to her. Don't come out and try to change her mind into going back to you but just talk to her and get her thinking about it to make her realize that if she's not completely 100% for this marriage than she will more than likely be very unhappy down the road. Thanks guys. I'm glad that I have support. My friend still won't talk to me, but I'm just letting it air itself out, and whatever happens, happens.
Yes, we're both girls. So yea.
But thanks you guys, you helped me out quite a bit. I'm just gonna take a deep breath and let everything figure itself out.

1. Try 2 spend as much time with ur cousin as possible. This would be a good time 2 make a strong bond.
2. Ur friend will talk 2 u sooner or later... Some people just don't like being protected. They think they r invincible and that they don't need any protection. Someone needs 2 sit her down and say "I only did it 4 ur own good and I was only trying 2 hlp. i didnt mean 2 upset u. I didnt want u 2 get hurt." If she is still upset then time will have 2 heal her wounds. Some people need more time thatn others so give her a couple of months.
3. (I am not a lesbian so I dont know a lot about it. Im winging it here just so u know) Try doing some thing romantic. When my boyfriend makes me mad I break up with him and he always finds a way 2 win me back. Try giveing her flowers or chocalate and maybe a sintimental? card that says exactly how u feel about her.]

Alright, I gues I have some major updating to do right now.
Alright about my cousin Jacob. He is doing very good right now. He's still doing chemo's and everything, but he's doing well. His dad just had surgery for colon cancer. He is doing very well though. I haven't seen him yet, but he's doing good.
And about my friend. Well Alicia. We did talk again. And we're friends again now. Although more stuff had happened. She ran away from home to be with this Gary guy. And it just so happens he is 38 years old. Uhm, he is in jail right now. Alicia is very shooken up about it, but it's ok now. I can't say very much, although I'm probably safe to say things on here. But she went to the doctor 2day to get tested for HIV and AIDS and other STDs. They are still waiting on the results of that. Uhm, she is doing good, but scared to death. She also had a pregnancy test, and thank the Lord, she isn't pregnant. Uhm, her mom is helping her through it. Alicia will be starting counseling this Wednesday. Uhm, what else? I'm trying to think. She has court on the 25th. And hopefully the guy will be locked up for the rest of his life. This is not the first time he has done this. They found in his wallet a list of girls, and after he does his thing he checks them off of the list. He has to register as a sex offender, if he hasn't already. Uhm, I think that's all I really can say. Yea it's been really tough. This happened all in like 2 weeks time span. It has been tough, but I'm doing ok. And so is she.
And finally about the girlfriend situation. I was back with her for about 2 weeks or so and then I broke up with her again, I couldn't handle the long distance. I also was with a few other people after her, I was with Chelle at one point, now me and her are just friends. And I was alost with my friend Epiphany, me and her are just friends also. I am not single however. I am with somebody that I love so much. She is my everything, and I love her so much. She's older then me, but I love her. And she doesn't live far away from me. And I'm very happy. I'm also well I'm engaged. Yeah, I know I'm young, I'm only 16 but yea. I guess that's all there. I love her alot, and I'm very happy with her. I guess that's all.
That is my updates. Lol. Uhm keep the Bryn family in prayer's that's the family with Alicia. And of course her and myself in prayers. You guys have been great. I'm glad that you guys are here, I always forget about this great support group I have here. And I just vented alot, wow. Thanks guys so much. Oh yes, one more thing.
Amanda(my fiancee) talked to her therapist about what has been going on and they think it's a good idea for me to see a therapist. And I agree with them. I think it would be a good idea for me to see a therapist. It would be very helpful with everything that has happened recently. So thanks guys.

Aww...honey I'm so happy everything is looking up! And as for your friend...grrr...that guy needs to be...I'm not even gonna say what I think should be done to him b/c I'll get a bit graphic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I'm happy about you and Amanda. How much older is she than you? And 16 is young. Just make sure you don't make a life-changing decision hastily. I'm glad we could be of service! hehe

And now another thing has happened:
My grandpa is in the hospital right now. As of now, it is kidney failure, it has to do with his blood. It's clotting or something. I'll know more tonight. My grandma should be in the hospital right now, because her blood sugar is half of what it shoud be. I'm very scared and worried right now. Keep my family in prayers.

Well my grandpa has cancer. With treatment he has a 5 year life span. And with stem cell transplant he has up to 10 years or more.

Love Liz glucose tablets and pop, works like a charm orange juice does good too <~~ personal experience I'm glad everything is working out for you you're friend will probably come around and see what you did for her was in her best interest. As for your grand parents, I hope they get better. and your cousin too. But just remember you grandparents have lived full lives and even if it doesn't seem like its their time to go, it happens to everyone eventually and I agree with hollyismyhero. dont' make any drastic decisions so young <~~ result of drastic decisions lol |

Yea I know. Well my grandma is watching her blood sugar extremely closely right now. I'll be at my grandparents house with my mom this weekend. I'm going to see my grandpa 2moro probably. The stem cell transplant is no longer an option. We're sticking with treatment. He gets kidney dyalisis done, but gets really sick afterwards. He starts to throw up and is really sick. He's doing good so far though. He's still in critical condition. They are still running more tests on him. Checking his heart, and his spine. The cancer is called multiple myeloma. Look it up on google and you should find alot of info. It's a blood cancer that attacks the bone marrow. But that's all we really know right now. Just keep him in prayers. My grandma is fine though, she's gotten a rude awakening and a reality check with her Diabetes. But yea, that's as much as I know. Once I know more I'll update you on Monday or Sunday evening when I get home from my mom's house.
