[glow=limegreen,2,300] Episode 07 - "Sympathy For The Demon" Summary: Cole desperately wants to be good, so Paige performs a spell to cast the evil out of him. The evil emerges and takes the form of a black shadow. The Demon of Fear reappears, absorbs the shadow, and goes to the Manor to kill Cole so that he can keep Cole's evil forever. When the Charmed Ones try to protect Cole, the Demon of Fear traps them in the manor and preys on their fears so that the girls find themselves in a "psychologically" haunted house [/glow] [glow=red,2,300]I thought that was a great episode myself. Seeing the ladies deal with their worst fears made it very interesting, and was another great episode in what seems to be a resurgent season for "Charmed" as a whole. Hopefully, we will see more of that. This episode only got a 2.9 rating/4 share here in the US, but keep in mind, this episode had to air opposite The Simpsons annual "Treehouse of Horror" Halloween episode as well as the Sunday Night Football game on ESPN between the Jacksonville Jaguars and New York Giants, and because it was the Giants the game also aired in New York (as well as Jacksonville) on an over-the-air station (which is required in the cities of the teams playing under NFL rules), probably knocking at least a tenth of a ratings point off of "Charmed's" number, and most likely more ("Charmed" is popular in New York, but Jets and Giants games come first). "Charmed" faces a similar problem this week, as the Sunday Night NFL game on ESPN is the Miami Dolphins at New York Jets, meaning the game will also be seen over-the-air in Miami and New York. This will be the case for the rest of the NFL season, and because of the rescheduling of Sunday playoff games for later in the day than in the past, "Charmed's" ratings probably won't improve until after the Super Bowl at the end of January. There was an irony that followed after "Charmed" ended on the episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent (one of the "L & O" spinoffs) on NBC. There was a "Halliwell's Pharmacy" in this episode that didn't seem like much early on, except it turned out the proprietor named Jim Halliwell turned out to be responsible for the deaths of several Cancer patients due to diluting medicine meant to help them, as he was trying to meet a $1.5 million pledge he made to a Church he and his wife Penny belonged to for a recreation center. After seeing this episode, it gave me an idea for writing Cole out: It turns out the Jim Halliwell in this "CI" episode is a never-previously-mentioned uncle of the sisters, and at the request of his wife, they are supposed to move to New York and run Halliwell's Pharmacy with Jim Halliwell in jail. It turns out that Cole has also been a Pharmicist in his lifetime, however, and he agrees to go to New York and run Halliwell's Pharmcy for the sisters so they don't have to make the cross-country move to New York. That to me would be a roundabout way of writing Cole out of "Charmed." Speaking of which, I wonder if anyone from "Charmed" saw this "CI" episode and/or the writers of this episode are "Charmed" fans? If you want to see this episode, it will repeat Friday, November 15 at 11:00 PM New York Time on USA Network (which normally airs "CI" episodes 12 days after they air on NBC).[/glow]

[glow=limegreen,2,300] Episode 08 - "A Witch In Time" [/glow] [glow=red,2,300]To all (with some spoiler space): S P O I L E R S P A C E Saw only parts of "Witch In Time" due to the fact the episode aired directly opposite the Miami Dolphins-New York Jets football game on ESPN (that probably will knock "Charmed's" rating down a couple of pegs as the game also aired on broadcast stations in New York and Miami), however, what I did saw of it, it defenitely looked like another great episode. The part in particular where Piper/Holly wound up essentially talking to a future self of her was really funny, including where the future Piper pinched the present one. There was one very noticable filming gaffe if you looked carefully: When Piper and Phoebe were running when trying to stop Phoebe's new beau from being killed, Phoebe (Alyssa) was wearing a different pair of boots from the high heeled ones during the sequence where they actually ran, and that's something that should have been caught in post-production. If they are going to be that sloppy in the filming, have Phoebe/Alyssa wear the same boots throughout. I'm sure this is something others caught as well, and if you didn't, watch the repeat Tuesday night on TNT (at 10:00 PM New York Time) in the US and look for that in the sequence, which actually is shown twice. To all:
At the time I wrote what I did about the fifth season being the last for "Charmed", that's what it looked like, especially since Rose had not signed for season six at that point. Since then, obviously the sixth season happened, and the ratings are as strong as they ever have for "Charmed." In addition, all of the ladies are already signed for a seventh season, and barring anything unforeseen,"Charmed" will be renewed for a seventh season, perhaps early since to allow for a sped up filming of season six so some season seven episodes can be filmed before Holly gives birth in April.

By unleashing fairytale characters and swaying them to evil. Meanwhile, Phoebe is still attempting to divorce Cole who is going all out to keep them together...Will it all end Happily Ever After? Episode 01 & 02 - "A Witch's Tail" & "A Witch's Tail, Part Two". Meanwhile, Phoebe's tryinghard to divorce Cole. Paige is still struggling with witchcraft when one of her spells goes awry & turns her hair red. (nice touch) Piper is trying to deal with the concept of having to protect her unborn child. [/glow] Oh, thank you so much, now I can find out what I have and haven't seen yet.
